Part 2 of our three-part series takes us into Hapari’s swimwear lines for 2014. Tasha talks in detail about our limited edition Tahiti and Palm Desert Collections as well as what else is in store at Hapari for 2014!
What do I think our customers will like most about the Tahiti and Palm Desert collections? I think what they are going to love most is that they are new, and they’re fresh and they’re exciting. We really spent a lot of time on developing our prints this year. Tahiti is a little more traditional and Palm Desert just pushes the boundaries a little bit, and so that one is really exciting.
Now that the new lines are finished, what do you have in store for Hapari? Technically not all of the lines are finished. This year, we did something a little different. We broke the lines into three different deliveries with two collections in each delivery. So we have two more deliveries coming out later in 2014, and we are working to finish those up and making sure everything is exactly the way it needs to be. We do have a smaller, private collection coming out in the spring. It is reminiscent of the pin-up girl – kind of vintage, retro swimwear. It’s really exciting with a lot of really pretty solids with some embellishment. That one is going to be a lot of fun. I also think our fans are going to love that we are using colored lining in all of our suits, which gives it a nice pop. Also, the new silhouettes we have coming out – the scoop and the eyelet – I think they are going to really love those two new silhouettes. We also have a ruched-side skirt with bottoms that is coming out this year, so there is a lot to look forward to.
