Hapari announces Tahiti Trip winner

Congratulations to Donalee Richmond, winner of our trip-for-two to Tahiti!

Congratulations are in order for Donalee Richmond of Mentor, Ohio! Donalee is the grand prize winner of Hapari’s Tahiti Trip Giveaway sweepstakes! As the grand prize winner, she and one guest will receive a dream vacation package including accommodations for seven days and six nights at a resort in Tahiti as well as airfare to and from Tahiti.

“What exciting news!” commented Donalee upon learning she won the grand prize. “I entered this contest only with the hopes of winning some beautiful Hapari swimwear, but this is just so wonderful!

Donalee was selected by a random electronic drawing from a pool of more than 36,000 entries. In addition to the trip for two, she will receive select swimwear from Hapari’s Tahiti Collection to for the trip.

We chose Tahiti as our giveaway destination to celebrate our new Tahiti swimwear collection, which was introduced as a limited edition collection in December. And Tahiti is such a secluded, beautiful and romantic place … who wouldn’t want to win a trip to paradise? We had a pretty good idea that our fans would really love the contest, but we have been in awe of how excited everyone has been!

And since we announced Donalee as our grand prize winner, it has been fun to watch comments from other Facebook fans across the country congratulating her on winning the trip. One fan even generously offered to be Donalee’s plus-one!

In addition to the grand prize winner, two runners up were also selected. The first runner up receives a $500 Hapari gift certificate, while the second runner up receives a $250 Hapari gift certificate.

The sweepstakes contest, which ran from January 4 - January 20, was conducted through our Facebook page where fans were able to enter once per day and received a bonus entry for referring new entrants.

This Tahiti trip giveaway has been just as exciting for us as for our fans. You may have noticed that we recently topped the 50,000 Facebook fan milestone! But we love being able to reward our fans for being such loyal supporters of Hapari. We think it is really fantastic when we can do something for our fans in return!
