Hapari has always strived to create swimwear that enhances a woman’s natural beauty, because we believe that all women, regardless of shape or size, should to look and feel beautiful in their swimwear. And this philosophy certainly extends into our line of plus size swimwear.  So we’ve compiled a few thoughts to consider while shopping for plus size swimwear.

Find a flattering fit

All of Hapari’s suits — not just our plus line — are designed to flatter your figure. It starts with our top-of-the-line fabric. When you start with better fabric, you get a better finished product that holds, shapes and lifts — not to mention a product that lasts longer. Small design details of a suit are also important when considering fit. Hapari has you covered with swimwear secrets like underwire and boning for shape and support, tankini lengths that are two inches longer than industry standards, and three-way shoulder straps that can be worn in different styles to create a customized fit.

Don’t settle for a less-than-great selection

One of the biggest challenges women face in shopping for plus size swimwear is that options can be so limited. While some brands don’t offer plus sizes at all, others only offer limited selection of styles, colors or prints. We understand — though we’re not sure why some companies don’t — that all women want options when shopping for swimwear. In Hapari’s limited edition Tahiti Collection alone, you’ll find a selection of five tankini styles, three plus size one-piece swimsuit styles, and 13 different prints and colors. The hard part will be narrowing down your favorites!

Sizing-up to fit in your swimwear shouldn’t be required

Most swimwear companies design their suits based on a junior sizing scale, which can cause a lot of frustration for women. If you are a size 14, you shouldn’t have to size up to a 16 or an 18. At Hapari, you won’t have to — perhaps one of the best features about Hapari swimwear is that our sizes are based in reality, and made for real women.

Tummy Tuk Technology

When it comes to swimwear, a lot of women take issue with their midsection. Hapari’s high-waisted Tummy Tuk™ bottoms — which have proven to be one of our most popular items — help you maintain your shape with a two-inch band that provides extra coverage and support at your waistline as well as full coverage for your backside. Hapari also offers a line of cover-up skirts and board shorts for women that can provide additional coverage and protection when you want to feel a little less exposed.

I think last years designs and colors were better for the Plus size tankinis. Please bring them back and small designs that hide the mid section. Boy shorts tummy tuck great stuff!

The whole “size up” idea I never understood or agreed with it. It seems more swimsuit companies are realizing that more options/varieties for plus sizes are a must. I’ve seen women just give up on buying swimsuits all together and end up wearing denim shorts and a t-shirt to the pool!
