Bloggers Review of Hapari Swimwear

Friday, October 28th, 2011

Plumeria Sport Tankini SwimwearHapari loves bloggers! And bloggers, it seems, love Hapari. All across the internet people are talking about our trendy tankinis, bikinis, and other beach wear products. Here’s a look at what some blogs are saying:

Brandy of Newly Crunchy Mama of 3 reviewed our Black Twist Tankini and Black Ruffle Swimwear Skirt. She found that the top provides just the right amount of support and coverage, and that it stays in place even when wet. She called the suit the “little black dress” of swimwear. Thanks, Brandy!

Mike of JustFindIt4U says that his wife and daughter both love our swimwear. They each received one of our Shores tops and one of our stylish bottoms. They found that the Shores are extremely comfortable and versatile, and the bottoms don’t ride up or slip down, even when put to the boogie boarding test. Thanks, Mike, Alina, and Alex!

Rose of Today’s Woman was wowed by our Mango Mudd S.O.S. Tankini. She liked how the built-in underwire of this suit gave her perfect support and shape. When combined with our Hot Short Brown Bottoms, this suit provides modest and fashionable coverage. She also remarked on how well-made our Hapari suits are. Thanks, Rose!

Susan of The Fabulous Shopping Mom loved the fun colors and design of our Retro V-Neck Tankini. She noticed that this tankini is longer than many other swimwear options out there, which means that you spend less time worrying and pulling the top down. She also loved the Tummy Tuk Turquoise Bottom because it works to flatten tummies and give a flattering shape. Thanks, Susan!

Cindy of For One Another loves our style tabs that let you wear our tankinis in three different ways (so do we). She also remarked on the excellency of our customer service department, which answered a question about the sizing of her daughter’s swimsuit. Thanks, Cindy!

Cami of Baby Half Off was afraid that our Tummy Tuk Brown Bottom would just, in her words, “push the pooch north,” as so many similar products do. Happily, she found that our bottoms really do the trick at “Tuk”-ing what you don’t want without creating a bunch up top. Thanks, Cami!

Thanks to all the wonderful bloggers who take the time to review our products. We really care about making sure that every woman feels comfortable and beautiful in her swimwear, which is why we love hearing stories about real women who’ve tried and loved our products!

We are always looking for inspiration any where we can get it! Swimsuits never seem to stop changing in style, cut and prints. But their purpose remains the same: get wet, look great, feel beautiful. We love to stay up on the latest trends, and we love to hear about other designers, like Melissa Odabash, who gave an interview about her swimsuit designs.

How to Select a Swimsuit for Your Body Type

Tuesday, October 18th, 2011

Most women don’t feel confident when they put on a swimsuit and look in the mirror, but it doesn’t have to be that way. With these tips and the ultra fashionable women’s swimwear from Hapari, you can look runway ready in no time.

For those who are big chested

When you are looking for a swimsuit that not only looks good but can actually be used for swimming Hapari is the right destination. Many of us have had the experience looking for playful swimwear styles but find difficulty spotting the best options for those of us on the big-busted side (blush).

You don’t have to feel top heavy or try to hide what you’ve been blessed with. If you’ve got a little more up top, go for a tankini rather than a bikini or one piece – with a tankini, you can mix and match your size to make sure you have all the support you need.

Choose a simple pattern with plenty of structure (such as a built in bra or adjustable straps). Avoid horizontal stripes between your waist, as this will only make you look larger than you are. To get a flattering division between your hips and chest, look for suits that have slight tailoring under the breasts or at the waist.

For those who are pear shaped

You’re likely not the first to have heard that when you are a bit more full below than on top it can be difficult trying to find a suitable suit! The key here isn’t just finding the right swimwear but also knowing how to wear it. Here are a few quick tips:

If you have a little bit more on your hips, find boy short bottoms that will help elongate your lower body. Be careful not to wear skirts with ruffles, as this will only make you wider at the hips. Draw the eye to your bust or your waist by choosing a deep neckline. This is often one of the more overlooked details. It can be easy to fall into the flatter of skirts and ruffles, but sometimes what looks great on the rack doesn’t come out the way expected when on.

Selecting a design that accentuates your waist with a little embellishment will go a long way towards making your hips look and feel slimmer. We have quite a few designs that fit exactly this purpose!

For those who have a small bust

If you don’t have a whole lot up top no need to worry! We’ve got you covered. Look for halter tops that bring things together. With a petite frame you can go a little more daring with the design, choosing a pattern that is fun and flirty.

If you like, try a tankini or bikini top that allows for inserts – this will help you look like you have more than you really do. If you want to draw attention away from your chest, find a ruffled swim skirt that will bring the eye lower.

The size of your chest really isn’t an issue when it comes to looking great a in a swimsuit. After all, we know beauty certainly comes in all sizes and shapes. But knowing which swimwear may be most flattering and just how to accentuate those areas are key for the look.

Take a look at our swimwear skirts and covers shorts to get a feel for what you may like best.

For those who are plus sized

For many plus size women the thought of even going out in a swimsuit doesn’t seem right. But I assure you, it will work out! Plus size fits in swimwear often maintain the same look, feel and flattery of any other.

Wide straps are your friend – and so is added support. Look for a suit that provides adequate coverage for your back, and emphasize your cleavage rather than your legs.

A simple pattern in darker colors will help you look slimmer, but don’t shy away from interesting detail.

Shopping for swimsuits is hard work, but with these tips in mind, you can find a suit that is not only fashionable, but flattering as well.
