10 Tips for Staying Motivated During Your Workout

How many times have you made a plan to workout then quit halfway through? We’ve all been there! Whether it’s boredom, exhaustion or just plain lack of enthusiasm, giving up is all too easy. We at HAPARI have decided to change that! Here are 10 tips to help keep you motivated and moving toward your fitness goals!

Find a workout buddy

Having someone to keep you in check is awesome on those days that you just don’t want to workout. Find someone who has similar goals, fitness level and activewear style. Are we suggesting you dress like twins in your matching HAPARI Eclipse FIT Pant? …Of course!

Get outdoors

A change of scenery can do wonders for your motivation, especially as the weather starts to warm up! Change into your FIT Capri Pants and take a different turn! Explore your neighborhood – you might just find a great coffee shop or restaurant.

Change up your routine

The weather doesn’t always cooperate with our workout plans. That’s okay, you can stay motivated at the gym by tweaking your normal routine. Usually start with weights? Switch with your time on the treadmill. Or change the time you hit the gym! You’ll see new faces and it will feel like a whole new routine.

Take a class

Nothing like a bunch of eyeballs in the room to make you push yourself! It’s also a great opportunity to try something new. Whether it’s a spin class or Pilates, having people around you who are pushing through the same workout is super motivating! Not to mention you get to show off your HAPARI FIT Activewear (you’ll be looking so good, you should probably sit at the front of the class).

Distract yourself! Whether it is a pump up playlist you made on Spotify or the latest episode of your favorite podcast, listening to something you love while you workout can help make the time fly!

Try working out in the morning

A post-work workout can help you de-stress but how many times have you decided to skip or cut your workout short because you were too exhausted? Try waking up an hour early and hitting the gym! You’ll be amazed by your energy levels after just one week!

Cut your time, increase intensity

You don’t need to workout for hours to get fit! Try increasing the weight and decreasing the reps, or gradually increase the incline and speed but run for a shorter amount of time. Even if you already feel like you have a full understanding of which machines to use and how, pay for a personal trainer. Paying for the extra training will motivate you to get to the gym! Sure, times are tough for most of us, but don’t cut corners on your health!

Have a “lazy day” backup plan

No matter how hard you try to stick to the plan, there will be days you just can’t make it to the gym. We’ve all been there. Buy some small weights and an exercise mat – that way no matter how lazy you are feeling you can take at least 20 minutes to lift some weights, do some crunches and stretch. We know you’ll feel better once you do! Even if you only do fewer reps at home, it’s better than skipping the whole day altogether! HAPARI Girls aren’t quitters!
